Mental Health Skill-Building Services (MHSS) are individualized goal-directed training which enable individuals to achieve and maintain community stability and independence in the most appropriate, least restrictive environment.  MHSS serves as an extremely useful array of supports that enhance the quality of life for adults who have long term mental health needs, cognitive deficiencies or dual diagnoses.
 
Our highly qualified and professional staff develop customized service plans that incorporate goals and objectives which are created based on the input and goals of our clients.  Main areas of focus are:

  • Assessment of competency and adaptive functioning
  • Evaluation of mental health needs
  • Implementation of an Individualized Service Plan addressing identified needs

  • Psycho-education and skills-training to improve independent living
  • Frequent communication and collaboration with associated professionals and treatment team members
